Comment: I bought this as a replacement. (My original RFU Adaptor died after 7 years.) And this is the exact same product, down to the model number. (The picture is wrong.) It arrived quickly, in perfect condition, and it was dirt cheap.

- they sent a substitute from some unknown company and the product was a cheaply made and didn't work for what it was intended - when it was inserted between the Playstation 2 and the television - the audio was distorted and unbearable. Of course the postage cost and hassle involved to return the item would have netted me about $5-7 so I cut my losses and just won't buy from them again. If you hate to be cheated - don't buy from them either!

Comment: I tried to save [money] and bought the madcatz rfu adapter for my ps2. It was bad. Made dvd's sound like a video tape w/ bad tracking. This one from sony works like a charm. Clear picture, great sound. If you have an older TV without rca plugs, get this!

Comment: sony packed an AC adapter in this RFU adapter box, but i made back 7 bucks on e-bay, so it's not so bad. word to the wize, don't buy accesories from sony, i see a lot of bad reviews on their products all the time.
