Summary: Front Mission 3
Comment: I biught this game for my boyfriend, he enjoyed it very much. The game came within a few days and we are happy with the quality eventhough it was used. The only complaint is I can't get my boyfriend off of it! ha ha!

Summary: A Game that keeps you busy...
Comment: And I mean that in a GOOD way.

This game delivers all the action you could want, and gets you caught up in the drama of a continuous storyline to boot!
One of the best parts of this game is all the "secret things" that open up even more of the game (hint..get the STRATEGY GUIDE)!

There 2 distinct paths in the game, depending upon which road you choose. It's got a fantastic soundtrack to accompany the action, excellent "training levels", intriguing characters, and some cool mecha that beg to be taken out and "test-driven" through a neighborhood (near you)in Taipei...lol!
Heck, just shopping for parts and upgrades is fun all by itself!

As an old PSX game...this one is top shelf all the way!

Also..the action figures (if you can find them) are beautifully rendered and give you a feel for these machinations and the power they wield.

Summary: Is Front Mission 3 for you???
Comment: Front Mission 3 - Circa 2000

GOOD:
- A nice change of theme from the usual swords and sorcery that most strategy games use
- Customizable mechs

BAD:
- Graphics might looked dated, to today video game players
- Gameplay can be difficult and slow
- Story is overly complex but can be a little on the dry side

IF IT FITS YOUR TASTE:
- A Sci-fi strategy set in the pacific rim of a near future earth
- Gameplay can be slow and difficult
- No voice-overs so lots of reading
- Customizable mechs

GAME ITS MOST ASSOCATED TOO:
- Armored Core
- Final Fantasy Tactics

ADDITIONAL NOTES:
- This first 2 games where on Super Nintendo

Summary: Not bad at all...
Comment: Front mission three is a turned based battlefield rpg. the graphics are amazing considering there ps1 and the story is very deep with several twists and betrayals. The online section has some interesting qualities but I found the email system rather useless, if you read the text between battles anything you get off the "net" was just reapplying the same message. Though you can get a rather powerful wanzer late in the game through email and web addresses. I enjoyed this game, kinda a Xenogears meets Vandal hearts mix. I would highly reccomend this game to any rpg fan or those who are into giant missle firing robots. thanks.

Summary: Why Aren't There More Games Like This
Comment: I'm about halfway through, meaning I've spent about 20 hrs so far, and I really must hand it to Square, this is a great game. The cinematic battles, the mech upgrades, and having money in the game, really make this challenging and fun. Any game that gives you the freedom to spend money and configure things is on the right track in my book.

My only criticism would be that they are trying to be an RPG. Oh, and this isn't an RPG in my book. They have some RPG trappings around, all around, in fact, all over the dang place. There's a lot of talking heads talknig, and sometimes that seems to eat up your time when really, all I want to do is check the shop for new upgrades and then get out to mech killing.

I with Agetec would make something like Armored Core Tactics or something. There should be more turn based combat games that aren't in a fantasy setting.
