Customer Rating: Summary: Meaningless Comment: The foam inserts are what kills this product. They're not big enough to stretch out the plastic, so it's always wrinkled and bending while you're playing. It makes it completely useless. And the foam doesn't separate into small enough piece for travel like most foam pads do.
Customer Rating: Summary: Great at first-now a real pain Comment: I bought 2 of these on Ebay for the price of 1 on Amazon. The first few weeks, I played regularly in Beginner mode and the pad worked wonderfully. On carpet, the pad did move a bit when doing doubles. I'd start at one angle and end the song in another. I have now been playing for about a month and am experimenting with the Light mode with 4 or more foot prints for difficulty level. The pad is frustratingly unresponsive now. When I hit the correct arrow ontime, I get a Boo mark because the pad didn't register it. I got low scores on many songs when I should've gotten higher just because the pad is dying already. The inner circuitry must be moving because in the selection menu for songs, I was only standing dead center on the pad and the column of songs was moving at a rapid pace like I was standing on the left arrow. I'll definately be looking into a metal pad for myself and use these foam pads for people who want to play me in dual mode. I'm tired of the frustration when I'm exercising daily. Save up your money for a metal pad if you're serious about the game. If you're a casual player that won't be using the pad regularly then this pad is better than the flat ones with no padding.
Customer Rating: Summary: do not order from family video! Comment: that's who i bought mine from, and what i recived isn't the dance pad shown above! It's the dance pad with the arrows in the corners instead of the X,O, square and triangle. once again, dont order from him.
Customer Rating: Summary: A Great Pad, But Not Without It's Problems Comment: This is a really good dance pad for the price, but only that. The positives are the low price, the foam padding which supports your feet and legs much more than the normal pads, and the anti-slip grip on the bottom of the pad. Unlike other pads, this one won't slide on carpet or hard wood flooring. The negatives are that the buttons will eventually die out with hard or frequent use, but all pads do that eventually. The other negative is that the covering of the pad rips very easily. It ripped the first time I used it, but that is a simple problem easily remedied by duct tape. All in all, if you can afford it and you play a lot, go for a metal pad. If you are on a small budget, go for the cheap, thin pads. If you want a pad that is amazing for the price range, buy this one.
Customer Rating: Summary: How do I stop Amazon from bothering me all the time? Comment: It was a gift .. I can't review it.
