Customer Rating: Summary: Great fun for my six year old Comment: I bought this game for my son and he has played it constantly, he loves it!
Customer Rating: Summary: A good kids game Comment: Pros:
- Great for kids who are fans of the show.
- Good variety of mini-games combined into the Avatar storyline. Therefore the game play is mainly linear.
- Good variety of venues where the game is played out.
- Much better than the 1st avatar game.
- Bending fits nicely into the gameplay- though only at specific parts.
- Providing the means to enter the avatar state when your partner's in trouble is a good mechanic that heightens the suspense.
Cons:
- Running-from-a-catastrophe mini-games can get rather difficult and frustrating.
- Finale is more challenging than it needs to be. Younger kids may run into problems here.
- Game is buggy. Audio cuts out at points. Characters freeze sometimes.
Customer Rating: Summary: Fun but easy Comment: I purchased this game for my roommate who is a big Avatar fan. He beat the game in 24 hours but still continues to play it. It's a fun game and I love the multi-player feature. I even ended up playing MoMo at one time. That was really funny.
Customer Rating: Summary: Did the game designers play the first game? Comment: I'm up to chapter 3.
So far, no item shops, no armor.
Treasure chests only have one item in it.
Can't switch to Momo.
No sidequests from talking to villagers.
No funny dialog from firenation soldiers.
Aang doesn't have his staff.
Doesn't have drum soundtrack or bending to open treasure chests.
I'm going to give up on this game and go back to playing through the first game, again.
Customer Rating: Summary: Fun if you're a fan and with friends Comment: If you like Avater, this is a really fun game to see the characters do more. Some of the storyline bits are poorly animated and the plot is not that complicated, but it's really funny if you don't expect too much, and the best part is that it's multiplayer; you can play with another person collaboratively - quest with each other, not just fight each other. I don't recommend this game if you don't love Avatar or have never heard of it - its campy-ness won't seem endearing when you're just confused about what's going on.
